Description
Once a major whaling port, St Jean de Luz is still an important fishing port for sardines, tuna and anchovies. This is a typical picture-postcard harbour, with its brightly coloured boats, piles of fishing nets, the scent of salty sea air and the tinkling sound of its jetty moving with the waves.
