This square is a blaze of bold colour (blues, ochres, pinks) thanks to the superb artistically restored façades that surround it. The church and hospital of San Juan de Dios (1728) typify the charm of the colonial Baroque style. This former hospital houses the Museo San Juan de Dios, retracing the history of Camagüey.
