Description
Perched on a peak with a panoramic view over the green Caudal valley, the church of Santa Cristina de Lena, in the shape of a Greek cross, an unusual feature in Asturian architecture, nevertheless remains faithful to tradition. The nave is separated from the clearly raised choir by an iconostasis whose superimposed arcades create an impression of balance.
