Description
The Uchiko-za, the kabuki playhouse of the town of Uchiko, built in 1916 and perfectly restored, stages bunraku performances in August. The 650-seat auditorium, wings and basement, together with its amazing scenery changing machinery, all made out of wood, are open to the public.
