Useful information

Description

All that remains of the original Romanesque church is the red sandstone chancel. The two windows and the arch with its five rows of mouldings are fine examples of 12C Irish Romanesque architecture. East of the cathedral is a 14C building that has been restored in its original medieval style to serve as a Synod Hall.
