Useful information

Description

Former property of Sir William Campbell, chief justice of Upper Canada from 1825 to 1829, the Georgian brick mansion was moved to this site in 1972 from its location in historic York. The restored rooms contain some fine antiques, portraits of the Campbell family and a model of York in 1825. The property once belonged to the Canada Life Insurance Co., whose headquarters rise just behind Campbell House.
