Description

Orangerie park, the largest of Strasbourg is comprised of beautiful gardens were designed by Le Nôtre in 1692 and modified to host Empress Josephine when she visited the site in 1804. The Josephine Pavilion, reconstructed following a fire in 1968, is the venue for temporary exhibitions. Children love the miniature zoo, in which the famous local storks rub shoulders with more exotic species (monkeys, macaws, parrots, grouse and Chilean flamingos). Pond, waterfall and play areas.
