Description
The Vergelegen estate, founded in 1700, extends across the slopes of the Helderberg in the Stellenbosch wine region. The quality of its wines, in particular its reds, has given it an international reputation. The vast estate includes the main house, still magnificently elegant, approximately 100ha of vineyards, a herb garden and a French garden. Don't miss the giant camphor trees, which are over three hundred years old and are listed historic monuments.
