Description
Southwest of Perpignan in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees, the Cerdagne constitutes the borderland between France and Spain. With clean air and lots of sunshine, its ski slopes at Font-Romeu and Pyrenees 2000 are popular with winter sports lovers. To the north is the Carlit massif, to the south the Puigmal range; these majestic peaks frame a chequered landscape of fields and prairies. Don't miss the col de Puymorens, the route de la Soulane or the church altarpieces in Angoustrine and Hix.
