Useful information

Description

Behind its carved-wood doorway and white and green façade, Jummah Mosque, built in 1852, is the island's finest religious edifice. Inside there is a charming shady patio, a cool oasis of calm in the heart of the bustling Chinese quarter. Only men are allowed access beyond the colonnades, behind which the faithful take part in their ablutions around the pool.
