Useful information
Description
This peak (alt. 1,634m/4,037ft) of the Forez mountains, is a granite dome-shaped peak, which bristles with army radar antennae. The surrounding, windswept moors are dotted with heaps of boulders. From the top (beacon and cross), to the right of the military installations, the panorama embraces the Forez, the Lyonnais and Beaujolais mountains, Limagne, the Dôme mounts, Dore mounts, Cantal and the mounts of Velay and the Vivarais.
