This village, occupying 10ha/25 acres in a delightful rural setting, recreates the atmosphere of a 19C rural community. It is home to an original gristmill (1846) and the log cabin of David Fife, who was famous for his hardy strain of wheat. Costumed guides also offer demonstrations of traditional artisanal skills and trades in the village.
