The fully restored and extended museum is housed in the premises of the former Notre Dame abbey. The landmark collections showcase two crafts that developed in Nevers between the 16C and 18C: faience and enamelled glass, two techniques that use the same materials, sand from the Loire and wood from the surrounding area. Visitors will see some 340 pieces of faience and the largest collection of enamelled glass in Europe. Fine art collection on the upper floor.
