Description
With its "king of cannons", a monumental 40-ton artillery piece cast in 1586, Ivanovskaya Square is a landmark of the power of the Russian Federation. The Senate building, in the Classical style, is the official residence of the current president of the Russian Federation. Next to it stands the former presidium of the Supreme Soviet, built in the 1930s.
