Description
This enjoyable barge excursion will first take you on the castle's moat (Horikawa) then along a network of canals that were used to deliver goods for more than 400 years. Winding its way under wooden bridges and alongside canals lined with cherry and willow trees, this tour will acquaint you with places linked to author, Lafcadio Hearn, residential districts and shopping streets. You can get off at any landing stage along the way, if you don't feel like doing the whole tour.
