Description
There is plenty to see at Madrid's first railway station: Delicias. Dating back to 1880, this iron and glass building displays steam and diesel engines, electric locomotives, a restaurant car (serving food) - in short, all the romance of the railways of yesteryear, when the journey itself was a part of the holiday. A particular hit with children, who can climb into some of the machines. Hop on board!
