To the east of Malasaña, Chueca is one of the emblematic areas of Madrid's exuberant nightlife. It is also a focal point of the gay community, and home to fashionable boutiques, cosy restaurants and hip bars. Every year, Madrid's Gay Pride attracts over a million visitors, in an incredible party. The best way to soak up the atmosphere is by wondering around aimlessly.
