The former working-class neighbourhood of Nørrebro has now become one of the hangouts of trendy youngsters and cool families, with whom you will fraternise on Elmegade, one of the area's main streets, which is lined with restaurants, cafés and hip boutiques. You will also rub shoulders with locals enjoying the greenery of Copenhagen's most famous cemetery. A little further west, Jægersborggade is buzzing with organic eateries, designer boutiques, shops for foodies and artisans.
