Description

This colourful temple at the foot of Mt Misen houses an eclectic collection of Buddhist statues and popular divinities. All the traditional paraphernalia of temples is here: a stone staircase with a row of prayer wheels in the middle, carp swimming in a pool and shiny porticoes. From the terrace there is a fine view over Miyajima.
