The Michelin Guide's review
Reconstitutions and scenery depict the history of Grenoble's particularly active Resistance movement. The "Monaco" meeting, for example, was held at Méaudre in January 1944 and was an essential phase in the unification of the various domestic Resistance movements. A large relief map pinpoints the location of the maquis fighters and major events. On the first floor near three doors, look out for the remains of the Gestapo cells in Grenoble, covered in graffiti by resistance fighters.
