Useful information

Description

The Catholic cathedral, dedicated to St Peter and St Paul, was built between 1831 and 1843 based on a St. Anthony's Cross or Tau Cross design. The tower and its spire were added in 1874. Rows of pointed arches separate the main nave from the side aisles and support the panelled ceiling.
