Useful information

Description

Dating from the 12C and partially in ruins, it has some fine architectural features still intact, such as capitals decorated with figures. Inside, the tombstones (14C) have effigies of bishops in high relief. The most interesting objects are the three large crosses that can be seen outside of the building, including the famous Doorty Cross. On its east face, you can make out a bishop standing above two other figures, on the west face, only faintly visible, is the figure of Christ.
