Description

The Campbell Collections, one of the most interesting museums in South Africa, is a museographic complex housed in Muckleneuck, a beautiful Cape Dutch home from the early 20C. The Killie Campbell African Library contains works by South African artists, including some magnificent sketches of Zulu costumes drawn by fashion designer Barbara Tyrell. The Mashu Museum of ethnography has collections of traditional African objects. The William Campbell collection features rare pieces of colonial furniture from the Cape region.
