Description
Situated on Highway 160 between Cortez and Durango, this plateau criss-crossed with wooded canyons, dotted with ruins hidden in the hollows of steep cliffs and once home to a vanished civilisation will fascinate visitors. And although the Anasazi have kept much of their mystery, you'll be amazed by their cave dwellings and ability to adapt to their environment - a timely lesson in ecology!
