Useful information

Description

The cathedral was built between 1250 and 1500. Although massive in appearance, it does in fact comprise a 12C cloister (restored in the 16C) on one side with its outbuildings, and the cathedral on the other. The nave dates from the 14C, while the side panels of mosaics and the majority of the stained-glass windows were added in the 20C. Three features are of particular interest to visitors: the baptismal fonts, the semi-circular Romanesque arch, and lastly the choir.
