Description
Montpoupon Castle stands proudly, retaining its 13C towers. The main building with mullioned windows and Late Gothic gables (15C) is home to the splendid "Marshal's chamber". The Musée du Veneur charts the daily life of a gentleman-huntsman, featuring everything related to game hunting. The outbuildings also bear witness to castle life a century ago, with several reconstituted apartments. Horse-drawn carriages in the stables.
