Useful information

Description

In the heart of a picturesque village in the Cher valley, close to the Château de Chenonceau, a contemporary and friendly bistro treats its guests to fresh seasonal cuisine crafted by a talented chef. Mickaël Renard honed his skills in some top establishments, from the Hostellerie de Levernois (in the days of Jean Crottet) and the Côte d'Or in Saulieu (alongside Bernard Loiseau) to the Auberge des Templiers. Today: "perfect" slow-cooked egg with herring and leeks; hake fillet from Brittany with cumin cream, new potatoes and mushrooms in a herby oil. Two menus-carte that change every two months, and a lunchtime menu du jour on weekdays – all at very reasonable prices!
