Useful information

Description

In the 19C, French architects left their stamp on Bucharest, most notably among whom was Paul Gottereau, architect to the Romanian Crown, who built this imposing neoclassical palace. The huge entrance supported by Corinthian columns, glass cupola and sculptures framing the clock provide a foretaste of the interior, which is not open to the public as such, because the CEC Palace is now the headquarters of a bank.
