Description
Be sure to go to Caru' cu Bere ("beer wagon") and soak up its 19C atmosphere, or at least how we like to imagine that. designed by the Pole Zigfrid Kofczinski (1879), it was a famous haunt of intellectuals and artists in the late 19C and still has an abundance of neo-Gothic decoration (flooring, woodwork, stained glass and wall paintings).
