One of the finest of its kind in the world, the Gold Museum has close to 50 000 pieces of worked gold originating from pre-Columbian cultures. Find out about metalworking techniques (hammering, lost-wax casting), the use of gold in everyday life and during the rites performed within each ethnic group, the world of gods, humans and the kingdom of the dead, and the universe of shamanism.
