Description
The church (1557-95), damaged by several earthquakes and repeatedly reworked, boasts opulent 17C decoration in red and gold tones, and antique confessionals. The main altarpiece (17C) literally covers the apse. Look up to take in the superb framework influenced by Mudéjar style.
