The Natural History Museum of Białowieża Park is installed in a huge edifice, whose tower commands a panoramic view of the forest. It features stuffed animals, films and a chance to relive former hunting scenes and to appreciate the protection work carried out by scientists. The museum is set in a 50ha-park that used to be the home of the Czar; all that remains today are a few picturesque wooden lodges and some farm buildings.
