Description
A former nursery, the small, serene city-owned garden occupies a high wooded plot in a suburban neighborhood. Ferns, evergreens, rhododendrons, azaleas and Japanese maples are grouped in a naturalistic style reminiscent of Japanese gardens and broken here and there by pieces of sculpture. Benches face out from a hillside, with a contemplative view down to Lake Whatcom.
