Description

This museum was created in 1935 upon the initiative of the illustrious archaeologist Pere Bosch-Gimpera. Various stages in the history of Catalonia are reflected through artefacts from different periods: Palaeolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age, the Iberian world, Greek and Phoenician settlements, Roman culture, the Visigothic period and, lastly, the Middle Ages.
