Useful information

Description

Kiku means chrysanthemum – the Japanese national flower – and, indeed, the cuisine here is strongly marked by Japanese elements. Influences from other Asian countries, as well as the odd subtle touch of classic French cookery, can also be detected. Dishes such as tuna tartare, steamed dumplings and seaweed or salmon steak feature on the menu. The restaurant is located in a small street lined with half-timbered houses not far from the centre. Inside, the atmosphere is laid back and elegant; the service is friendly and informal, with the chefs coming to your table armed with delightful explanations about the tasty dishes. The best way to get acquainted with the food is to opt for the ten-course set menu, but there is also an appealing à la carte menu. The bill is very reasonable considering what you get for your money.
