In this old 17C inn, a passion for gastronomy is shared with diners! Owner Christian Mutschler is always on hand, recommending and serving, but also sharing stories about the eventful history of the place. The no-frills food is tasty, and most of the ingredients come from the region. The game dishes are definitely worth trying – made with game hunted by the owner, they could hardly be fresher or more seasonal. At lunchtime, meanwhile, the menu is significantly pared down. The wine list is also dominated by Swiss labels, and there are plenty of good bottles to choose from. Be sure to make the most of the terrace and the great view it offers!
