Medicis Quay
Michelin Guide
Civil and military monument
The Michelin Guide's review
This owes its name to the Medicis palace (the current head office of the Prefecture), much altered, where Lawrence the Magnificent stayed. At no. 17, the attractive Toscanelli palace hosted Lord Byron in 1821-1822 who wrote a part of Don Juan there.
