Since the 6C, this cathedral has undergone numerous alterations, resulting in this eclectic but rather majestic building. The south porch (15C) is in the Catalan Gothic style, while the chevets have retained their original Arab-Norman decor (12C), with their geometrical patterns with incrustations of lava. The neo-Classical dome was added in the 18C, when the interior was also completely refurbished.
