  The Michelin Guide's review
On the east bank of Lough Ennel, this is the perfect setting for an elegant villa (1740), probably designed by Richard Castle. From 1912 until 1963 the house belonged to Colonel Charles Howard-Bury. The villa has been restored to its original condition, with period furniture. Inside, finely-carved woodwork and Rococo ceilings can be appreciated. Three terraces, in the gardens facing the lake, provide fine views.
