Useful information

Description

"Many heads" is the translation of "Kata Tjuta" in the Anangu Aboriginal language. Rather than heads, they are depicted by 36 red rock mythical domes, which literally spring up in the Australian desert. It is even said that Kata Tjuta is held to be more sacred by the Anangu than Uluru. They are part of a UNESCO World Heritage national park and can be explored along two hiking trails.
