Description
On the north and west side of the square, the town hall comprises several houses. The Weights and Measures Office has a distinctive doorway surmounted with King Solomon's Edict and the Wolfenbüttel coat of arms. A statue of Duke Augustus the Young (1635-1666) honours one of the most cultivated princes of the House of Brunswick and Wolfenbüttel.
