Description
From Burg Stargard the route leads past a ruined castle to the town of Woldegk with its five windmills. The road then unfolds to the south into a lovely hilly lake region that is home to otters, sea eagles, ospreys and eagles. Woods, meadows, marshes and lakes alternate attractively between Fürstenwerder and Feldberg. The former house of the writer Hans Fallada in Carwitz, which stands in an idyllic lakeside location, is open to the public.
