Useful information

Description

This park was created in the middle of the 18C and is divided nowadays between the private Home Park and the Great Park, most of which is open to the public. It is connected to Windsor Castle by the Long Walk. On the top of the hill, the Copper Horse is an equestrian statue of George III. Two old royal residences are located in the park, Royal Lodge and Cumberland Lodge, as well as the Valley Gardens, and the Savill Garden, two wooded areas embellished with a beautiful collection of flowers.
