Description

Dedicated in 2000, the Japanese American Memorial is one of the last monuments to have appeared in the neighbourhood of Capitol Hill: its two bronze cranes caught in barbed wire pay homage to the Americans of Japanese origin who were blacklisted during the Second World War.
