Useful information

Description

Waha boasts a charming sandstone Romanesque church consecrated in 1050 and dedicated to St Stephen. It is topped by an elegant 16C bell tower. The plain interior highlights interesting works of art, including a font, reliquaries and some beautiful statues. The life of St Stephen is depicted in six large stained-glass windows (2004-5), which are one of the last works designed by Jean-Michel Folon.
