Description
This street is pleasantly animated by artisans' workshops, yet it has a tragic history in the dark annals of Jewish persecution. Along with surrounding streets - note their names - it formed the Jewish Little Ghetto, the destruction of which in the Second World War is attested to today by a kind of no-man's land. Two faces, two stories.
