Description
Built in the Classical style in 1740, the château de Bizy was remodelled by its successive owners, among whom were King Louis Philippe and Baron de Schickler. The rooms appointed with Régence woodwork and Gobelins tapestries have mementoes of Bonaparte and Marshals Suchet, Masséna and Davout, ancestors of the current owners. The furniture is mainly First and Second Empire. The park is embellished by 18C statuary, fountains and water features.
