The Michelin Guide's review
Founded in the 12C by Cistercian monks, the monastery has a fine abbey church built in the transitional period between Romanesque and Gothic. The sober façade contrasts greatly with the dimensions and Gothic style of the interior. Note the Plateresque chapel with a 16C multicoloured carved door and the sacristy door in a Rococo style. The cloisters are late Gothic and there is a Plateresque gallery on the first floor.
