Description
The Argonne massif is made up of beautiful forests, undulating landscapes and well-preserved villages. This verdant region stands for and honours the painful legacy left by the First World War. Traces of the conflict of 1914-1918 can still be seen in the landscape. Make a stop at the Musée de l'Argonne, in Varennes-en-Argonne, in order to better understand an entirely different page in history: the arrest of Louis XVI.
