Useful information

Description

Built in 1873, the royal enclosure of Cetshwayo - the last independent Zulu king - was destroyed by the English on 4 July 1879 after the battle of Ulundi, during the Anglo-Zulu War. Today, the site is occupied by the KwaZulu Cultural Museum and a recreation of the kraal. They present Zulu history and culture through a remarkable collection.
